Successful HYSYS training workshop in Maribor
Maribor, Slovenia 30th of June, 2009
The last of the HYSYS training Workshops was held successfully on 30th of June 2009 in Maribor, Slovenia. The workshop was dedicated to the development of components for
hybrid vehicles with hydrogen fuel cells on behalf of the HYSYS project, a European commission funded project at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering
and Computer Sciences.

The other two training workshops were organized by two technological partner’s of the project one at the “Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge” in Aachen, Germany (13.5.09) and one at
the “Hochschule” Esslingen, Germany (17.6.09).

The HySys workshop was intended for those who are interested in the technology for
hybrid vehicles and vehicles with fuel cells. The workshop was held in the form of ten
lectures and presentations. The lecturers were competent representatives of the
companies, institutes and universities.

CRF organized a demonstration of a prototype vehicle with hydrogen fuel cells in the
internal parking space of engineering faculty in the time between 9:00 and 18:00.

More than 100 participants from Slovene automotive industry as well as professors and students from University of Maribor and University Ljubljana attended the workshop. Furthermore the media (appears on two local radio station news and also on national television as ecological contribution in automotive industry) have joined this workshop.
